Legal responsibilities
Pickerings Lifts helps you meet your legal responsibilities.

LOLER 98 and SAFed LG1 each have specific requirements that must be met and recorded. We inspect the lift against these requirements and if in the event of non-compliance, advise what changes are needed.

Rapid local response
Our national network of engineers is locally based and on hand 24 hours, 7 days a week for call out and emergencies.

Any Lift System
Pickerings has the expertise to maintain all types of lift and escalator. Our engineers are all qualified and receive regular training to keep them fully up to date with the latest technology.

We are founder members of the Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA) and European Elevator Association (EEA).

Maintenance contracts


By taking out a service contract with Pickerings Lifts you are entering into a partnership with us to ensure your lift is in tip top condition and meets all legal requirements.

Types of Contract

STANDARD
Regular servicing, inspection and adjustment.
STANDARD PLUS
Regular servicing, inspection and adjustment.
Call-out during normal working hours.
COMPREHENSIVE
Regular servicing, inspection and adjustment.
Call-out during normal working hours.
Parts and labour.

Different types of equipment and usage profiles mean that a maintenance plan right for one situation is not right for another. We work closely with customers to ensure each contract is exactly right and tailor individual agreements to specific needs.

We have wide experience of integrating with customer specific management systems and meeting defined service level agreements.

We ensure operation of all safety features and devices, verify all lift functions are working correctly and check the lift is in optimum condition.
